Jennifer has a passion for helping people unlock their potential and tap their wells of wisdom. It’s a commitment that began when she was very young. Diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, Dermatomyostis. Jennifer endured years of struggle where her own immune system attacked her muscles and continually threatened her survival. But as with many challenges, there is deep wisdom and power in perseverance. She took that personal knowledge and transformed it into her life’s purpose. She earned a Master’s degree in psychophysiology so she could use her experience and education to help others through inspirational talks and attending to the chronically ill. Whether her clients are in emotional pain, physical pain or in a hospice setting she has a deep understanding of how pain can bring forth insight.
Jennifer believes that one of the biggest gifts in life is authentically connecting with people and learning from their life journeys. She is on the planet to help create a “global bridge” between cultures. She has a passion for overcoming adversity and is using it to create a book that will share the wisdom of women from all over the world who have conquered adversity and have the scars to prove it. Jennifer calls these scars our beautiful flaws. You can learn more about Beautiful Flaws under the “Book Tab” on this website. Jennifer is a featured contributing author in The Spirit of a Women where she shares her story of her Tsunami Relief work in India. She also designs multicultural & earth based necklaces www.afrasiajewel.com to help fund her Beautiful Flaws Project. Example below:
